The first lady head
vases appeared before World War II, but their popularity reached it heyday
during the 1950's when American florists used them as incentives to promote the
sale of flower arrangements. It is estimated that more than 10,000 lady
head vase designs were created, primarily in ceramic or porcelain materials.
By the 1960's, there was scarcely a home in American which did not contain a
solitary lady vase on a vanity table, or a row of the demure beauties on a
window sill.
These lady vases
shown below are created as original sculptures by a talented design staff.
Each piece is meticulously hand painted. Cameo Girls Lady Vases are
individually created and accessorized to provide a fresh new approach to a
timeless treasure.

A
Queen of Beauty is lovely Judith, regal in her spectacular sparklers

tipped the scales. Her rendition of a Big Hunk O' Love on the
five-string banjo had them all on their feet! Part of her reign
will involve her civic appearances and the excitement of travel, but
you can bet, the soil-resistant, wrinkle free and easy-care

"Abigail feels the spirit of piety and charity deep in her bosom as
she worships amongst the brothers and sisters of her small
congregation. Dressed simply, Abigail is clothed in a day gown of
green-black, a mob cap of white muslin and green ribbons, all
trimmed with ruffles in the fresh green of the coming spring. 'Sing
on, ye joyful pilgrims, nor think the moments long; my faith is
heav'nward rising with every tuneful song.' Seated on the worn
wooden benches, the upturned faces of the faithful beam with
spiritual light, and their voices ring out with the words of the
favorite old hymn."

A young noble? A magistrate's troubled but good-hearted nephew? Or
